Greetings and a warm welcome to the 16th International Symposium on Antimicrobial Agents and Resistance (ISAAR 2028), taking place from 14 – 16 September 2028 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.

ISAAR2028 builds on its strong legacy as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation in addressing antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Guided by the theme, “Ending Antimicrobial Resistance Through Innovation and Collaboration”, we will bring together global experts across science, clinical practice, public health, and industry to share insights and drive practical, outcome-focused discussions.

Through the congress, we aim to accelerate progress in antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention and control, diagnostics, and surveillance. We also hope to support the next generation of researchers and clinicians by creating opportunities for training, mentorship, and engagement with international perspectives. As a community, we look forward to strengthening partnerships and advancing collective efforts in response to AMR.
