ABOUT ISAAR 2028

ABOUT ISAAR

The International Symposium on Antimicrobial Agents and Resistance (ISAAR) has emerged as the foremost international gathering on antimicrobial resistance and infectious diseases in the Asia-Pacific region. ISAAR’s primary objective is to facilitate the crucial exchange of up-to-date information and data on infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance worldwide. Key topics addressed during ISAAR include epidemiology, mechanisms of resistance, pathogenesis, clinical impact, development of new antimicrobial agents and vaccines, as well as treatment and prevention guidelines. The information shared at ISAAR holds the potential to foster global solutions to the challenges posed by infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance.

ISAAR stands out as a distinctive event that places strong emphasis on antimicrobial treatment, new antimicrobial agents and vaccines, as well as our strategies for combating infectious disease threats in the future.

VISION FOR ISAAR 2028

  • To create a collaborative, impactful ISAAR — a platform where science, policy and practice converge.
  • To build long-lasting partnerships that extend beyond the event, strengthening AMR research and capacity in the region.
  • To spark innovation, awareness and actionable solutions that benefit not just our country but the global AMR community.
